Oscar's Everyone Day
Sunday 23rd June 2024In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.
About this parkrun
We ran the winter route which is 4 laps on tarmac firm trails and a bit of grass, road shows will be fine. Very friendly and the parkrun special is still happening in the cafe.BlueArmy 9th Nov 2019
3.5 laps with a mixture of pretty much every surface. Very wet when I ran it (early Jan), muddy in places and the team laid carpets over one particularly sticky stretch - trail shoes unless it's been dry for a while. Small cafe

Mix of tarmac, gravel path and grass. Now stays within Ford Park. Road shoes ok unless it’s rained so as it’s the Lakes trail shoes might help. 3 1/2 laps so ok if you don’t mind laps. Well signed and marshalled.
