Mother T the first kilometre is just spent dogging slower runners with many quite clearly over estimating their fitness and inccorrectly guessing their predicted race time, even saw people walking after 2 K's....! Paced this run pretty much spot on, wanted a 47:30, actually got a 46:24 with an average of 4:37 per K, reckon I could get this down to a 45, but still very pleased with the result as I knocked off 6 minutes from last years time and over 2000 places better!
