Hope Boots is doing OK now....
We had our first session since lockdown at dog training today. Five dogs in total attended including Wanda's best friend Teazle. All in our own spaces around the paddock each with a set of equipment put out for just our own use and sanitised before the session. Very well organised all round. We didn't really do anything too challenging for the dogs but I got through *quite a lot* of sliced ham and we have had an extremely tired dog this evening. Given that she spent most of last night barking I am hoping all we will hear tonight is a lot of staffy snores!

Oh that's lovely Baroness!
Flossie will be envious of the ham and the outing - her trip in the car yesterday was to the vet for her annual jabs. He came out to the car to do them, so she felt she had to bark at him as he approached the car. She wouldn't have dreamt of barking at him in the surgery but he was coming to *her* territory. Of course as soon as he said 'Hello Flossie' she shut up

Rory has his first obedience class back this evening (if I remember to go, I keep forgetting about it!) We’ve been back at scent classes for while. They’re now outside on a farm, aka ‘The Most Exciting Place In The WORLD’.

Second meeting with "Uncle Corby" went well. Both off the leads for a little bit. Corby got a bit stressed when we were in the house though and was a little sick so going to have regular visits building up the time. He gets very jealous.

That's a great photo, Roberto We had similar issues with our stroppy terrier, George, and my daughter's chocolate labrador puppy, Poppy, at the beginning of last year. We started off with walking them together with George wearing a muzzle on the first two occasions, just in case. He was more stressed by wearing the muzzle than he was annoyed by Poppy so we removed the muzzle. He used to warn her when she jumped all over him too much, and still does when she's particularly annoying (she's never taken much notice of him though!). Since then, we have continued walking them together without a problem. At either our house or my daughter's, things were more difficult because George guarded me a lot but again, we have persisted and we can have them in the same house now without a problem (other than Poppy charging around like a lunatic trying to get him to play).
George still gets a bit jealous but is fine if I make sure I make a little bit more of a fuss of him than I do of Poppy Poppy quickly learned how to wind him up too so we have to stop her doing that too much. I think that George does actually like her now, although would never admit it He does get quite protective of her when other dogs are around too. He's a bit like a teenage big brother who thinks it's not cool to be out with his little sister
