Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

not only did Ralph reject his paddling pool, he's now decided that the ramp I bought to help him get in and out of the car is too scary. We spent ages yesterday with it propped against the sofa with sausage a treats on it - but each time he found a way to get them without actually walking up it. The told us in no uncertain terms that he didn't need it by leaping onto the sofa over one of the arms, jumping over the ramp top and leaping down over the other arm.
Idiot - this is supposed to protect his damaged knee and try to avoid harming the other - not have him doing acrobatics!

Just catching up on the thread - love the picture of Arlo and his snake. Hope Ralph gets to grips with the ramp too.

I know it's not really funny, Rosehip, but that did make me laugh a little bit!

Big panic this morning. Arlo fell and seemed to catch his back leg. Initially dragged it and seemed wobbly on it but then started moving a bit more and running and jumping. After a little sleep he seemed fine other than he avoided to stretch it and used his weight on his other leg to wee. But then after another sleep, is back to normal. Monitoring it but think he just got a fright really. I don't think I've ever been so scared for something before. Have to call the vets later anyway so keeping on monitoring.

Everything fine. No sign of any issue. And he has gone to the back door, the last 3 times he has needed the toilet.

Glad all is well Roberton. People on this thread may remember that son2's Lab Polly ended up with her leg in plaster for weeks after a mishap playing with their other dog.

She's absolutely fine now thank heavens and when they were over here yesterday was playing and swimming like a good'un.
