Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Is yours moulting - obviously "doodle" owners don't need to reply they can just look smug. :) Who's idea was it to buy a black, long haired dog? As you may remember I vacuumed last week and really didn't expect to have to do it again for ages based on previous habits. pft!

We swear Jess sheds more hair than any dog in history. I don't know whether the black hair, the tawny hair or the white hair shows up the most.

but there's lots of it

Raffo says our carpets (and HIS sofa I might add!) have a permanent patina of ...brown (which is the mix of hair with a bit of general grunge thrown in)

I remember seeing one of those Choose Your Puppy programmes that stated - and demonstrated - that GSDs are the worst shedders of all dogs!

'Now they tell us', said Raffo.

We have a less 'sheddy' dog and still get a full Dyson capsule every day.

That programme also said that Labradors were one of the 'sheddiest' breeds. I can believe it; at home we have a lot of carpet which should probably be a slightly clearer colour if all the dog's hair was removed, but at the seaside, which is largely hard floors and rugs, the 'hair bunnies' are *everywhere*. :-(
