I don't know how busy your road is Helegant but even if it is a cul-de-sac or very quiet lane that's still pretty worrying. Could have been unpleasant too if Jet was the sort of dog to be territorial about such a visitor.

I never let Ollie off the lead near a road, even though he's very biddable off lead. It's not worth the risk.

He's back from the vets. A little subdued maybe. Verdict is arthritis arising from cruciate damage in the past. As he doesn't seem to be in any discomfort we'll just keep a watching brief.

Glad Ollie is not in any discomfort.

Been to get some more drugs for Marvin from the vets today as he seems to be quite uncomfortable bless him.

We have to cross a road to get from house to beach and I stick E on the lead just to cross as he can't be trusted to stop and wait yet. I guess everyone approaches dog ownership differently.

I came home from work tonight to a hyper dog. He was very bouncy on our walk and when we got home his pal Bisto was heading across to the beach so we joined him. There is nothing better than seeing the pure unadulterated pleasure of a couple of dogs rampaging around chasing each other. Not so enjoyable to spend half the evening picking sticky willy out of his fur (I really hope that is not a colloquial expression). There were at least 150 of them.

Hi, bad dog owner here... been to training class and I obviously misunderstood last week's instruction so I now have to undo the mistakes and start again. Bit depressed and finding it all hard work. however I imagine its because I'm so busy and haven't been giving him enough of my time...
must try harder

I'm sure he'll quickly pick things up D2. It's not easy and you have a lot on your plate. You have all the skills and experience and a good relationship with Indi which is surely half the battle.
