Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What minor disaster has befallen you today?

WS’s problem wasn’t a disaster of any type, but simply poor mashing management :-O

Not me but my husband, the cat brought in a dead bird and proceeded to rip it apart on the dining room floor whilst hubby was on a work phone call. I was out so my husband had to clear it up 😄

Mad Dog Jess has peed partly on the sofa and partly on me. I didn’t realise until she got off as her body heat disguised the dampness.

My train was delayed by a whole 15 minutes, but that meant I had only one minute to wait for the tram that would bring me to my front door (well, 150m past... Close enough for jazz).

Enforced manual washing up as I have noticed my ancient inherited slim line DW seems to cost a fiver to run and holds about a sink and a half of stuff.

The DW thread warned me of this but it's an extra 350 to project kitchens budget.
