Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Still in! More shopping and was treated to Missing Toe & Whine & Jonah Louie (both execrable imho) but not George & Andrew’s “finest”

Still in. Had to go out but managed to survive. Heard plenty of Slade, Wizard and Shakey but no George 😅

Survived Tesco's today. Paid and got out quick while 'Holly Jolly Christmas' was on just in case they came up next.

Survived another day. Like risk, with only a trip to Edinburgh Airport to collect daughter, then back to the airport five minutes later as she booked a PCR test whilst we drove out and it was right next to the long stay carpark.

Very slick btw, should anyone near Edinburgh need a PCR (no symptoms, just a not-close contact, and being super cautious).

But no Wham at the testing centre.

Been to Asda and survived so I’m in for another day.

Panicked first thing this morning and got my Band Aid and Wham mixed up…it was George’s voice I heard.

GOOGLE SHEET HERE:

Sheet for 2024 is on the first tab; you update your own entry. As with previous years, we're also tracking the number of repeated 'hits' for those who are out before the end (if you want to).

Who's up for the challenge then? whamageddon.com

"The 1st Rule
The objective is to go as long as possible without hearing WHAM's Christmas classic; "Last Christmas".

The 2nd Rule
The game starts on December 1st, and finishes at the end of December 24th.
Use your local timezone, if you'd like.

The 3rd Rule
Only the original version applies.

The 4th Rule
You're out as soon as you recognise the song.

Player vs Player?
While we can't stop you from deliberately sending your friends to Whamhalla, the intention is that this is a survival game. Not a Battle Royale. So ... don't be a dick, okay?"
