SarahWoo, I thought the same. Get so caught up in looking for our runners and club runners, and no real opportunity to mingle, except those in team allocated. I guess I sort of met a few in other teams by going up and down with my home baked cookies. Hope I didn't poison anyone.

Hey USB, was lovely to see you yesterday and you looked so well and enjoying it. Very well done and what a diff from Paris a couple of years ago.

I'm glad I went a said hello to the line of people once I arrived, as you're right, once the runners start coming its a blur and its all you can do to look at the stream of people on the course. It seemed no time later that I looked round to see lots of space at the barrier as Fetchies had drifted away. Think we got most people, the last ones of us stayed until about 4.

I had a great time yesterday, I never thought watching a marathon would be so good, and of course being part of Fetchpoint just tops it off. Was a really good fun day.

Nice to catch up with everyone in the pub later too.

Role on next year. I'm planning to enter VLM when the ballot opens, but no worries if I don't get it, I'll just Fetchpoint again :)

Some fetchies are here to support specific people. They'll start to filter away once their runner is through. The rest of us will stick around until the flood slows to a trickle; at which point some of the folks who have been there since dawn will start to head off. We will always make sure that there are enough people there until every one of our runners has been accounted for.
