I like that. It's the 29th, and I'll be off out to work in a mo. This real work is tiring and I'll be glad to be driving a desk again on Tuesday.
I'm not at work tomorrow so...Friday?
Still got that cough ...

I’ve been working. Saturday shifts have minimum legal breaks (to ensure fewest folks have to work) so no time to get a Mealbreak Mile done today.
That’s it for 3 days now

I swam again this morning. I've been watching a few YouTube bits about technique and all that. Today I concentrated on rolling my body more with each stroke and consciously not working too hard so I could maintain the rotation.
Ave swim pace about 3-5 seconds faster per 100m than the last few swims.
Some of that might be that I'm starting to physically adapt to the swimming again but that's only swim 6 so maybe not.

Adaptation begins quite soon, so early effects can be noticeable, especially if you’re tuned-in. The miserable bit is when the plateau arrives

I can imagine. I was just surprised that today was noticeably quicker for less physical effort. It just felt a lot smoother doing the rotating and reaching. I think I'd always been rotating to some degree but having seen some of the tips online I really rotated further and more consciously.
And I am breaking things up into different length pieces each time to stop me getting bored so maybe that also adds into the speed equation.
