The irony.....everyone on Zwift except me😀.

72 easy outside miles with a (takeaway only) cafe stop and 5 mile run off. Traffic at pre lockdown levels. Then dug some shit into the vegetable patch. Knackered now.

Tomorrow 12 mile ish run am, more garden work then up the Alpe at 16:00. Hoping to nab the lightweight wheels at the top and get a few death stares from those who keep getting crappy gloves....😀

Good work going on here, nice. We’re gonna rip when racing begins again.....

Oh and Kona: Decision is October 21.

Linds, Facebook showed me a photo from this time last year yesterday, of an early morning swim at the lake. The water temp was 15.8, according to what I said accompanying the photo, and having had such warm weather recently this Spring I wouldn't be surprised if it's currently warmer. I'd have to not bother with a wetsuit as I can't do the zip up unaided, but at that temp that would be ok for s short swim.

I just need the lake to reopen :-(

Thanks, that's helpful. It would be lovely at that temp. Neither of the lakes that are open are lakes that I've been to, which is adding a layer of worry. I might try to go this week if it's as warm as forecast.

One of the lakes apparently *has* opened locally, but only to members, (and I'm not), who must book a timed slot. You might need to check that with the lakes you're thinking of.

I. too cannot do my wetsuit up unaided :D however I will have to wear my Swimrun suit which is a front zip with neoprene calf guards, not ideal but at least Ill get in and do some swimming :)

Been on a 2-hour group ride with the bike club (on Zwift). Coffee and doughnuts now, bacon roll in a minute. Life could be a lot worse. :)
