Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Gobi and TRO are the Wattbike kings. I just dabble. And you’re pedalling with one leg more than t’other

Which is odd Grepster, because the leg that gave 51% of my power is the one with the dodgy achilles which I thought would be weaker.

Is 51/49 an unusually out-of-balance situation?

Not even slightly.

The objective is to turn your peanut into a sausage. Worryingly that is not a joke.

So what does the wobbly peanut mean? It must mean something. And how do I make it more sausagelike? And what even are the advantages of sausages to a vegetarian?

Vegetarian sausages are available, if that’s the way you swing.

Your wobbly peanut/figure of eight means that your power output is not even throughout the pedal cycle. The more evenly you distribute power the more sausage-like you become.

Ok, so if it slopes top left to bottom right what to I do to flatten it? I’m assuming flat is better.

Report time

2nd month of base done and actually my biggest month in hours for a while

152 miles run 3rd best of year over 300 in last 2 month's and only 2 less than June
570 miles biked some 60 more than last month
6.5hrs of gym work

Rest days 1 - first since May
Parkrun - back in the 17s but keep coming 2nd
Tts on road bike - in the 23s and power is back now at March so ready to push on
Also 1 win in a club TT even on the road bike

It has been 2 good months, I'm not TRO TRAINING but close to 130hrs in my base period and the only issue is the shoulder not letting me TT but I think it is improving just slowly.

Have had a mini break/Easy 5 days and now time to push on again.

DVD extras

This 5.6kgs beauty of which I have explained the spec but can do again suffice to say 830 grams for a pair of wheels
Trip to Paris to see G just for 1 day - priceless
Finally built my Holdsworth
Sold my old Allez !!!
