Fucking rainfilth, but tested reasonably well for a 53:18. Fairly terrifying near death experience on the way back: Lorry came piling out of a petrol station with a very short run in without seeing me, only evasive action I could take was to swing into the fast lane, fortunately no BMW's or Audis doing 85 at the time otherwise that would have been it...very scary and some evaluation needed. I have a local sprint tri tomorrow, and more fucking rainfilth is predicted.
