Does one rub one's own cock, or get someone else to do it for one?

True. But cock rubs are more interesting than dead weirdos.

utrb - i HAVE A GARMIN 1000 (oops) I have used the mapping once and ironically I was running with it :¬)
As long as you know where you live it is easier to just ride, I just explored until I had 20/30/40 etc mile route
Nich - for cycling I would do your own to avoid excitement as it is not good to ride a bike too excited :¬)

of course I may well be too busy looking at cadence/power/HR to want to read a route
I did use my old 705 around the Gorges in Ventoux but even in France I find I scan a map and make shit up :¬)

Reading the 520 review, you don't get the turn left/right instructions anyway (guess I'm thinking more car navigation here).
Makes it easier, just get up early, plot a few locations and just get riding

UTRB - I have the Garmin edge 1000, and I've used the turn by turn directions a couple of times (when in Mallorca, and not 100% sure of being able to remember the route I'd planned), and apart from that I don't use the feature at all. As for cycling on your own? well you're on your own on race day, and depending on the length of your event you may be on your own for some time, so I'd say get used to it - or maybe I'm just an antisocial git who prefers being on her own ?
swim soon (I *will* eton the training league this month!) and run later
