Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks guys ❤️I had a physio session on Wednesday with my private physio who was confident the foot is healing well largely due to fitness going in to the operation has stood me in good stead. I’m down to only using 1 crutch now & can start some exercises to build up ahead of my appointment with surgeon.

The biggest struggle has been sat stationary for so long and feeling totally dependant to do anything. Light at the end of the tunnel now.

February: Autumnleaves 600 - 105 - 54
Decent month - just ahead of target. (well done AL)

February: EarlyRiser - 240 - 46 - 21. Shorter month fewer hours! (Good point!)

February: Evil pixie - 400 - 75 - 35. Running well but need to do the extras (Prods Pixie!)

Febuary: geordiegirl - 500 - 56 - 6. As expected with zero moving but I’ve done some upper body workouts and started to move a little by end of the month. Onward and upwards.

February: GimmeMedals - 400 - 27 - 12. (Here’s hoping you are recovering well now GM)

February: HappyG -365 -36 - 10. (here’s to a cold free March)

January: NordRunner - 500 - 40 - 40. No cycling yet due to snow. (Roll on spring!)

February: PeterFay - 600 - 102 - 49. On target still with shorter month and time away with family. (welcome along, you are having a great start to the year!)

February: Riggys99 - 600–66-34.
Achilles improves then hamstring went. (bugger…. When is the marathon?)

February: Sweetie - 365 - 39 - 24. Better month but still behind. (still lots of time to catch up hope you’re recovered now)

February: tipsku - 700 - 121 - 56. (Good work continuing according to your bloggage)

February: TheScribbler - 250 - 18 - 43. Getting easier thanks to spring weather at last. (makes all the difference doesn’t it! Must try to catch up soon)

February: Welshpoppy - 350 - 39 - 24. Struggling with fatigue post virus. (Hope the brighter days help)

February: westmoors 365 - 62 - 29. Staying ahead of the curve. (Time is certainly flying)

Just waiting for @NordRunner will update again when I’ve got it.

Well done all. The brighter spring days are definitely helping and I’m now being more mobile too. Hope to maybe do a bit of run/walking next month.

Name - Target (hrs) - Year so far (hrs) - This Month (hrs)

A link to Fetch hours target link fetcheveryone.com/training-targets.php?category=T

May: Autumnleaves - 600 - 254 - 49 - a bit down on the monthly target (50), but ahead overall.
(I blame work interfering with gym visits) (Work has a lot to answer for, and you’re VERY close)

May: EarlyRiser - 250 - 82 - 1!! Good reasons why nought in May but it's June and I'll be back. (Hope all is ok and you’re back to it this month)

May: Evil Pixie 400 - 228 - 55. Fetch says I'm 38% up but I'm sure that will change after Ridum! Another month where I've covered more miles than ever before. (a whopping 175! Amazing)

May: geordiegirl - 500 - 183 - 62. Recovery going very well, lots of walking and some decent running. Managed some strength sessions so building those now.

May: GimmeMedals - 400 - 156 - 33 Still a bit behind for the year, but close enough to the monthly target. (Plenty time left well done)

May: HappyG - 365 - 119 - 33 Best month of year, need to keep it going. :-) (Well done on the 1hr per day!)

May: NordRunner - 500 - 201 - 63 - apr-may running injury is recovering, now on 5km/day; cycling is keeping the time up. (Glad to hear you’re recovering. Hope you’re back to full strength soon)

April: PeterFay - 600 - 279 - 59 - On track. (you are inspiring Peter all your varying activities)

May - riggys99 600-202-38. Lower month bit of lost running mojo and a frozen shoulder stopped some weights etc (hope the shoulder is fixed soon & mojo is found)

May: Sweetie - 365 - 143 - 59. Solid month, really happy with that. (Excellent training well done)

May: tipsku - 700 - 300 - 58.5. May was a bit of a recovery month after the marathon but I'm still 10:25 hours up (well done on Mara and staying ahead of target)

May: TheScribbler - 250 - 122 - 27 Feeling super good after seeing dolphins on my last run of May. Soon to up the run mileage in prep for September half marathon. (what a wonderful experience Scribbs & good luck we should get that training run/sauna booked in)

May: Welshpoppy 400-193-43. Building up but fatigue and a bug made it lower than I would like. (Hope you’re over the bug soon and back at it)

May: westmoors - 365 - 157 - 31 (Well done)

Update from Gobi: Hi GG and others. I had a big race so there was almost a taper and recovery so only 89hours of training which take me to 472 for the year.I expect June to be bigger#gobimachine (congratulations and mega hours!)

About the thread:

A shout out if anyone else wants to set themselves a goal in terms of time training (hours).

Remember, whatever you want to count as training... counts as training. If it's walking the dog, cycling to work, mindfulness and meditation, knitting, whatever you want to track, you track the hours!!

For anyone who wants to join us - it's easy, just estimate how many hours a year of training you want to do, and each month we see if we're on target.

2025 is a GO!

Here we track time spent doing anything you want to track as training. Ideal for non-runners, cross trainers, walkers, the injured etc!

Inspired by Sigh's blog (even though he's not playing any more!) fetcheveryone.com/blog/83896/2019/7#blog395919

Time has now been added to most logs, summaries and graphs, so thanks Fetch! :-) G
