Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Glad you revived this. I have had a shocking week of not doing stretching, where I have been good for 3+ months.

I'm not sure how it dropped off my radar, Oscar. I'm glad to have some company here :)
What caused the drop off in stretching?

Great thread, I wasn't aware of its existence until now. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

The stretching hits home, also strength training. I'm trying to get the Garmin badges for yoga and strength training each month, 4 hours a piece, so 1 hour per week. I didn't do any strength training yet this week so I'm behind schedule. I'll do a bit of resistance band stuff before going to bed.

Other things would be
1) get at least 6:30 hours of good sleep per night, preferably asleep before 2 am.

2) stop buying sweets during lent.

Hi tipsku. Quality sleep is so important isn't it. Good luck with no sweet buying :)

It’s surprisingly easy to let things slip, even after a few months, isn’t it. Building a new habit takes a long time.

Oh yes, I've been trying to get those Garmin badges every month since they have been introduced over a year ago and it's still not automatic. I have to remind myself to do the strength and flexibility training every month.

I'm still here. Making tiny changes to my diet.

Started off not having a naan bread with curry.
Then stopped buying chocolate. I can still eat it, not buy it.
Cut down to one filter coffee with cream in a day from 2

Just trying to take a few unnecessary calories out of my diet a bit at a time. If I try anything too big my brain hijacks it :-)

Next week the plan is to add something in. An extra glass of water to replace the coffee. Have other plans too but all in good time :-)
