Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

This more craft than knitting, and not a great photo, but this is what I made today. About 20 years ago, I made a family of 4 reindeer from hazel coppice and some firewood with the 'help' of my children. Only 2 were left last year, and their antlers and legs got wrecked by one of the storms, so a replacement needed in time for Christmas. This is willow an much too lightweight to go outside I think - it's going to be decorated and live in an upstairs window.

Love it! Do you do a lot of willow weaving and did you use a pattern/guide?

I followed very detailed instructions. If I made another one, it would definitely turn out better.

The good thing with willow shapes is you can always just bend it some more or pull the piece out and try again. It's not like some of the other things people post on here where you really have to be quite careful and accurate.
