Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Shrewsbury park run today, 20.39 mins. 45sec improvement from last outing. Times are going in the right direction! Really want that sub 20.

21.05 at the Race the Train 5k in Caernarfon today. Ok, it's a net downhill race and therefore does not count officially as a PB race but I am pleased to note that sub 22 is now very likely (it's said to be about 30 sec faster than a flat course, so I could be looking at 21.35ish). Not bad at all, considering that my parkrun times were 23:30-50ish this year so far. Feeling very positive about my running right now. Maybe sub 21 by the end of the year and the tackle the sub 20 next year.

Getting closer. 20:15 on a multi terrain, undulating course tonight. My garmin measured 3.15 too, so may have even crossed 3.10 at 19:59. Just need to train a bit more, eat a bit less pizza and finder a flatter course

1) 1m - 6:27(6:27/m) 170/180bpm 131cal
2) 1m - 6:34(6:34/m) 181/184bpm 148cal
3) 1m - 6:19(6:19/m) 184/187bpm 144cal
4) 0.15m - 54(5:53/m) 186/188bpm 20cal

Mmmm ... 42 seconds to loose. Might be asking a little too much before the end of the year.

You can lose 42 secs on the right course in good conditions if your physically and mentally up for it.
