The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
1. Anyone here can submit a candidate for inclusion, the only stipulation is that it's had an outing here before and is on our master list. I'll send a copy of the list to anyone who asks
2. I'll regularly publish a copy of the link to the You Tube Channel where the playlist can be found
3. Please try to avoid any tracks that have had commercial success, ie. big Motown. Lesser known, NS-orientated Motown, Gordy etc is OK though
4. You must post the link again prefixed by #FE Soulful 100 Candidate. Try and keep your candidates to one per day per person so we can savour the music, this is meant to be a list of people's favourites
Just been searching through the list to see if there are any "classics" that we should have aired by now - Macca gave the idea with his Donnie Elbert track. I think this one fits the bill, a 100-mph dancer and as rare as hen's teeth. Love this one:
