I bet - breezy on my race today. I've found the magnets I use for race numbers stick quite well to music stands, used alongside clothes pegs. Then when I have a race I wonder where my magnets have gone...

We have super-heavy stands and metal pegs, and our own pegs and whatever. But with banners on the front they were a bit like sails today.

I never thought of using magnets for securing music to stand (pencils to stands, yes) - genius - sounds more reliable and subtler than clothes pegs. I hope the brass band weekend went well.

Re magnets - take care how you put them on, it can sound like machine gun fire if the whole band is placing them at the same time!
