sorry if this has been mentioned before - if I have a notification of a workout due, look at it and then delete it, it takes me to my training log page but with a date range of 1970-01-01 - 1970-01-01 so it shows no training available to be seen! Is there any way to change that default date so it shows the current month, as it used to?

I see that there's now a note saying "You paused your watch for 100 seconds. This time will not display in your split graph." That's rather annoying because I didn't do anything of the kind. It's Garmin autopause, and some of those 100 seconds is waiting to cross the road and some is slowing down for a stile or nettles, and some is just perversity on the part of the Garmin. I'd really appreciate it if the training log gave the option of showing the total time or the total moving time. I.e record both, but I can choose which is displayed and analysed. As a runner who makes frequent stops, I have two aims: one is to improve moving speed, and the other is to spend less time stopped. That's why I'd like both figures. This might be opening a can of worms: some might not stop, but walk, and want time spent under 3-4 mph recorded separately. Do you see a way to help without too much growth in the database? |

Couldn't you just add the 100 seconds on to your recorded moving time?

Once, yes, but not to see how things are developing.

That is the question. Sometimes I don't seem to have what it takes to carry on. to drink, and if that's buying in a shop or a pub, eight minutes seems to be the minimum. to stretch or loosen up a bit to correct the Garmin's erroneous belief that I've told it to switch off its GPS or its stopwatch above all, to read maps. to tip-toe past nettles and such like, or even to find a stick to beat them down with to duck beneath low overhanging branches and probably a few other reasons. After any stop I'm not good at starting again asap. |
