Oscar's Everyone Day
23rd June 2024In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

I've a place at Abingdon. Downtime at present then a leg of the a WCR in June, a bit of 5km focus (although this downtime contrary to that) then rebuild again.

Spent this week fitness testing ready to get back into it. Did a Hadd style hr test and a 10k race: 1.5m at following HRs: 130bpm: 11:54 total time; 7:59m/mi 140: 11:03; 7:25 150: 10:06; 6:46 160: 9:33; 6:24 170: 8:44; 5:52 10k was in 35:35 - followed usual approach of trying for 35 minutes and fell off it earlier than normal ~4 miles in.. All could have been far worse! |
