Trip to the doctors today and I have a chest infection now. Starting Antibiotics and have a chest x ray to check it's not pneumonia. I've never been so excited to get medication, fingers crossed I'll be feeling much better in a couple of days

Good Luck Chris. Hope it clears up sharpish!

I tried a bit of swimming last year, I can't seem to swim slowly(it wasn't fast either) so was absolutely knackered when I finished

You sound like me Chris! Felt like I was going 100mph but actually very slow!

Haha, yep sounds like we have a similar style. I normally end up drinking half of the swimming pool too

Antibiotics seem to be doing the job so snuck out and ran a whole 5 miles this morning. Legs had nothing in them but happy to be out (just don't tell my wife otherwise she may kill me)

Very gentle 4 x 10 min today, legs still battered from long sessions at the start of the week. A bit disappointed I didn't go faster, though it felt pretty effortless and the pulse was really low, so there must be a decent level of fitness underneath it all. Think the winter of fell racing has been good for me.
