Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Here’s something you clever lot might know.

I have a spreadsheet that tracks the number of working days between 3 different actions. To do this I have a table that lists all non-working days. This I populated manually for the last 6 months. However, some of the events I’m tracking go back much further than this.

Does anyone know of somewhere I could find and copy all the UK non-working days going back 3 years?

What do you define as a non-working day?

Try networkdays(...)
If you set locale/region to UK, it should (as per MS!) take them into account

I thought networkdays() only handled weekend days, with additional bh days add-able as a separate array?

Networkdays is what I’m using, but I had to set up an array for non-working days. Maybe I misunderstood and only needed to do the bank holidays, but I’m sure in my tests the formula was counting weekends as well.

The spreadsheet is on my work laptop so I’ll look tomorrow.

I’ve not seen any mention of that larkim, but you most certainly know better than I.

Should exclude weekends, and as per Larkim, needs an array of UK Bank Hols

I got very annoyed with Excel 365 today. If you have a shared workbook, it appears you can't hide columns just for yourself - it hides them for everyone. Really vexing when you just don't need to see some of them and it won't all fit on your monitor.
