Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

If that doesn't work - Depending on your version of Windows try this :-

Find the file in Explorer. Right Click on it and see if there is an option to 'Restore Previous Versions'

You may be able to recover and older version of the file and have to recreate some data but it's better than losing everything

by jove bigleggy, I think you sorted it! when I right clicked, there was no option to Restore Previous Versions but under Properties there was a little sentence that said something along the lines of "this file has come from another computer and has been blocked for your own good so there" but it did give the option to unblock so I did and I can now access the file.

Thank you thank you thank you

May I recommend regular backups from now on - especially if you're going to rename the file :-)
