Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sorry to hear this, lammo and Linds.

Linds- I can really relate to those nightmare after shocks...:-(

I seem to be going through a relatively good phase, just a short wake up at about 3, usually able to get off to sleep with meditation.

That's good KatieB! A while ago I had almost nightly nightmares - or if I woke up I knew I had to switch the light on very quickly, before I started almost hallucinating weird and upsetting things. It was strange and disturbing. I used to be afraid of the dark as a child (and where we lived it was proper dark, in the middle of the countryside with no street lights); I still can't stand utter pitch blackness.

Thanks. Glad things are settled atm for you, Katie.

Terrible nightmares again last night and feel really exhausted and headachey even though I had enough sleep. I think it's work that causes them mostly.

I never had any problems with Zopiclone and they didn't make me drowsy the next day. I took one when I'd had two or three bad nights.

I was prescribed Zopiclone years ago when going through my divorce but like Dave I never actually took them due to the fact I thought I would be addicted - found them the other week but gave them back to pharmacy to destroy.

My sleepy spray is certainly helping but it gives me a dry cough when I first go to bed... maybe I spray too much. I have been close to 5am the last two nights before I wake so that’s a definite win

Was sleeping well until two almighty blasts of thunder at 04:40ish. Never heard anything like it and don’t recall winter thunder before
