Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A bit nippy up here for that WtnMel.

Though plenty of stairs here at work, and I'm on the third floor at the hotel I'm staying at.

So chance for some strength work.

[Time was Pete when I would always run up stairs in preference to taking the lift - those days are long gone unfortunately :( ]

[I went on holiday to Norfolk a few years ago with all of my running kit except shoes. I went to the sports department in Jarrolds department store in Norwich where I was suitably equipped with a shiny new pair of running shoes].

Ran home via the coop. Bit over 5 miles. Only realised when I got in that I’d worn my lanyard the whole way instead of sticking it in a pocket.

I’d probably have noticed if it hadn’t been behind the straps of a running pack to be fair.

Probably.

"Golly, whatever is that really loud noise?" I thought to myself as I pedalled towards the railway bridge.
Sigh.

Found a roll of rock tape that I'd lost about a year ago. Put it somewhere I'd remember... any ideas?

Half senior moment, half caffeine event horizon: needed to grind some coffee beans and put water in the machine. It's a good grinder, I would have missed it if I'd actually got as far as pouring water into it.

About This Thread

This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
