Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oscar's Everyone Day

Sunday 22nd June 2025
In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March 2024, so now we dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

Feeling a bit ropey and was going to ditch SportFit last night. However I went and had a fab class.

Got home popped in to my aunties for a Xmas drink which was nice before a bath and bed.

Not feeling any better today but I do feel better for doing the class and spending time with family.

Wombling Plodder (Welsh Womble)
Yesterday I took a bag of toiletries to the local hospital for the Dementia Ward following a shout out by the nurses on social media - they needed products for the urgent admissions that they get who arrive with nothing. As I had lots of little bottles of this and that, they are also going to make up some little packs for the Christmas admissions.

The self care part was that 1) I had decluttered part of my life for a good cause and 2) I skipped through the park and kicked up more leaves - I am turning into a proper Winnie the Pooh ;-)

Finished making Christmas gifts for teachers, then sat on the sofa with a cuppa and biscuits.
