Hi Fetch has said us RW refugees can relocate here. I know there are existing sub3 and 3.15 threads, but the fetch threads seem to be for more infrequent posters. The RW threads are more of a daily diary. We'll see how it goes. I'm a M57 hanging on to sub3. I'm unattached harriers so like a place to talk a bit of running and find some inspiration and accountability. |

I’m not the thread police but suggest you’d be very welcome to join the existing threads rather than start parallel ones. The posting frequency varies by season, not many of us are actively preparing right now.

TR! Good to see that you still live the sub 3 dream ![]() you might just spice things up a bit with a few posts on the sub3 / 3:15 threads. Welcome aboard! Things tend to get going more around the spring / autumn mara seasons. I think the main difference here is that the training logs mean that folks don't feel the need to really post about their daily training habits. And then if you are used to reading the stevieg-type post race monologues then they often go in to blogs which other users can also interact with. See you around. |

TR- Thanks. I can actually access Fetch off my work laptop which makes posting much easier than trying to do so off my phone if a longer post.

ah, now I get it. It took me a while to remember how to get in to the old RW forums but I did so now I get it. JDA got it, as usual. I think it would be a real missed opportunity to create new threads when there's a real opportunity here to bring more folks together on 1 or 2 threads. But, before anyone feels like I'm trying to maintain the status quo / favour existing FE threads I'll stop posting and become a watcher just in case ![]() |

The sub 3 and sub 3:15 threads on here are very welcoming so I'd agree with WW and Jda.

I am happy to use the existing sub 3 chat. I think the idea with this in the first place is for everyone to find us, in case we had to use different forum names etc. |

There's a related thread section on most threads here where you can navigate to other threads and both the threads mentioned are there.

I remember the days a RW mod asked me to be the "Mentor" for one of their marathon threads. Appreciated the recognition but pointed out that as I'd never run a marathon, or had any desire to, that it might be a slightly dodgy premise :D Having said that I did help train Lit to a 2hr 52 marathon based off a mix of my mentor Moraghan's training and adapting P&D, so might have worked! (ps not sure what relevance this has to this thread, but as I'm here...) |

SG - the relevance would be that as you've now posted on the thread you need to do a marathon. Sorry, but thems the rules ![]() |
