Just checked, he was 24 last year which makes sense given Vingegaard wasn't it even definitely racing till the week before IIRC. If Pogacar is seen as a clear favourite the separation is justified. Evenepoel was the bargain big name last year.

I reckon most will go with how can I get Pogacar in but it's good that the points system has forced a compromise. There's also the double whammy of WVA and MVDP being expensive unclassed riders so if you want one or both of them, you're losing at least one of your opportunities to make maximum savings.

I've got a nice line-up on paper with pog, evenpoel & mvdp - there are alot of good options in the 6-8 point range.

Fetch league Lanterne Rouge finish now awaits, obviously.
