I presume Decathlon are on Decathlon bikes? A great way of getting their brand in the heads of cyclists.

Yep, their top of the range Van Rysel model. Along with their helmets, sunglasses, jerseys etc. Can only help breakdown the stigma of more budget friendly brands.

Van Rysel, so Decathlon's own brand, though I'm not sure the exact bikes the teams are on are available in the stores (possibly stretching UCI rules)

It's funny in the top teams how few have a bike brand as their headline sponsor. Is it just Lidl Trek that are the only other one that has the brand in the team name? Presumably some of the teams are the only pro tour team riding that brand's frame (accepting that many of the components will be from SRAM / Shimano etc too, presumably down to sponsorship / supply arrangements). |

There's Canyon/ SRAM for the woman as well, but I think that's about it at World Tour level.

That one is particularly odd as Canyon seem to supply more teams than most; so to also be a headline sponsor is more weird!

They sponsor a huge amount across road, MTB, gravel, trials and also YouTubers such Sam Pilgrim, Fabio Wibmer etc.

There's bike sponsors quite involved even if you don't attach them to teams. They generally like to be attached to riders I guess and so may be involved with multiple teams. Specialized do that and MVDP's recent deal was with Alpecin and Canyon. |
