Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Not just any muscle imbalance either - butt cheek muscle imbalance! lots of clenching needed, haha

I have been doing strengthening exercises yeah but as they don't seem to be doing anything, my motivation has sort of dropped and now died altogether, it's terrible.

Ouch, bursits of the hip, I thought I could have that at first - sounds nasty :-( What's the advice for that then - rest, rest and ummm, more rest??

About to order a takeaway pizza now...

6 weeks now and yes it does not help knowing that this is the most common injury reason why people give up running and it takes months to get better if at all

Evening all.
Chicken - I dont get these people who run with loads of gear on,especially in this weather! I wear shorts all year round as I get so hot.
I last ran (or tried to) at my circuit training class on Wednesday night but I had to stop after 5mins as was in too much pain. Nothing since but itching to get back out !

:-( to everyone's injuries - they all suck in their own way.

CT - no scan YET. this is what i plan to nag my fizz about when i see him on tuesday. it does really feel more muscular but it can't hurt to rule it out.

is anyone doing the run/walk thing? i was advised to do that by my fizz but can't even do that without any pain, dammit!
