Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ouch indeed. No I've never torn a muscle before. I believe the recovery period could be between 1 - 3 months and the total healing period could be 18 months. Not good at all. My doctor said that if I continued to run in the future then I should expect to be continuously injured - he was very helpful.

It has been 6 weeks tomorrow since I did the ankle. I have had more physio on it and more ultrasound and it really does seem to be helping. Physio has said 6 weeks is still a very short amount of time and it will take much longer for the tendon to heal but the ligaments are looking better! It is loads better than it was and running on it doesn't actaully hurt but it is very weak and is liable to 'give' at any time.

Poorly tummy is rubbish :(

But then you wouldn't be able to type with attitude. Maybe smash something less expensive to replace or the TV in true rock star fashion?
