I then volunteered during the first few before actually running in October. I then took over as Event Director in late 2009 and have only completed 170 parkruns of which 140 were at Bromley (out of 350 events held). I have never finished first at Bromley and my best was 4th on three occasions! Although I have managed a 2nd place at Bexley, Greenwich and Orpington. I have been Run Director on 105 occasions. If the start of the Bromley parkrun is also my parkrun history then I have either run or volunteered on about 275 Saturdays in the last 7 years (albeit with a few Christmas/New Years Day events in that total).
