Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

no newt for me, just sympathising with WA's CPR - "lifeguard" refresher training - lots of rescuing dummies from the bottom of the pool - but even more CPR. knackered!

I walked to the pool, which is not a newt but I haven't done it for ages. And I SWAM! which is also not a newt, but I haven't done it for ages.

I went a run!! It's not my first ever run, not even the first this year. But... IT WAS PAIN FREE! And I can't remember the last time something or other didn't niggle whilst running :) :)

That's great, WA.

I set off to run to parkrun on the other side of the road to see how it felt. By the time I got there I realised I had switched back, and couldn't, for a minute, think when. It was after about half a mile :-0

I am going to choose Fleecy as yesterday's newt winner out of some very strong contenders - but meeting up with fetchies has always got to be a jingly newt and so is staying in an AirBnB.
