Just done my 3 x 8 currently having 10 -15 seconds recovery but I guess that will change during the next week!

I got a bit slack the last few days so did the 3x6 and 3x7. Im using up to 30sec recoveries but I agree I can see them getting longer over the next few weeks.

I'll do the 3x8 later tonight, after work and maybe after the gym, or at the gym. We'll see.

3x7 last night ,3x 13 of the 2 lots of situps and 3*12 lots of squats.....and a run at last :) I might actually get fit soon ;)

Nice one Lise

I did 5 x 10 reps of barbell squats on Monday - legs felt it yesterday.

Hopefully the push ups and added core and weights through the winter will help improve performance.

Welcome Richard and Longboat. There is a link to a spreadsheet for tracking progress in the header of the blog.

Just done my 3x8. I think something nasty is going to happen when I reach 3x10.

Start on day 1 with 3 x 1 press up. On day 2 move to 3 x 2 and keep increasing by one every day. If you fail to do the target for the day then you try the same number the next day, only increasing when you have done the session properly. The Marathon talk challenge is to get to 3 x 100 push ups.

There are no real rules except all three sets must be done in the same session though. No going to wash your hair/walk the dog in-between sets:-).
