Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fingerless mittens? There are some nice patterns on Ravelry. Perhaps have a look at your yarn stash and see if anything 'calls' to you.

Mittens may work as it does get cold in work!

Any suggestions for a wrap shawl thing for keeping warm in work. So large enough to wrap around shoulders and down arms

Finished my granny stripe blanket last night. [IMAGE 111652 Attic24 pattern with the Sunny colours pack. Now what am I going to do next? I have a scarf to finish knitting. Mr PL prefers me to crochet because the needles clicking drives him mad!

Maybe I can finally crack the ripple pattern for crochet?

I find my right wrist gets cold, as it rests on my desk when I'm holding the mouse. So I either wear the mittens or use them as a wrist support!

I found a lovely new-ish yarn shop in that London on Friday. It had been a long week and so I treated myself to leaving work early and making a visit to Beautiful Knitters beautifulknitters.co.uk on my way home. The owner showed me a shawl she had just finished using Noro yarn. It was yummy, but probably horrendously expensive! She did print out one of her own patterns for a baby hat, which I've just started for a neighbour. I think I might be a repeat customer.

Lovely colours PL.

I’ve just started a ripple blanket for Teen 2. 168 stitches! Might take me longer than I anticipated.

Thanks for the new shop KK, I'm going to have to find them sometime when I'm working in London and can escape early.
