Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

WP enjoy your break!

I’m back down to 11 kg lost this morning. I have been up and down between 10 and 11 lost for the past three weeks. I wonder if I will manage to lose more, despite eating a bit more.

Good news on the losses Mousey and Azx!

Hope you’ve recovered Hann - sounds awful!

I weighed myself this morning. Seem to be loosing about 100 grammes a week, which I reckon is how slowly and imperceptibly I put it on last year!
So this is a good thing!
Mostly having lunch at home now, so cooking 2 square meals a day on top of my home made granola breakfast. Very little desire for snacks! Getting back into my old ways. Just a ling bike ride a week missing but the weather is just too foul right now!

Going in the right direction Hann :)

I'm losing about 400g a week, although occasionaly it's a little more. I think that's about half the rate at which I put it on!

Pleasing drop in the fat% y scales give me again this week. Dropped from 39% to 36% since Jan. oddly, the amount of water/muscle/bone it gives me haven't moved as much so the total does not add up to 100. Pleased the weightloss seems to be pretty much all fat though, not lean tissue. That's the upside of losing slowly.

Loosing slowly and in a calculated way is the only way I think.

I can do with eating less gluten. It bloats me and constipates me. Must get back to baking my gluten free sourdough.
Making everything from scratch: hummus, granola, nutmilk, sourdough starter & bread, kombucha... It gets a bit wearing some times.

Less gluten is something I've played with in the past and I'm sure it helped with my aged-joints. But it's so limiting, especially when trying to keep carbs high enough to fuel training, I've lapsed again.

It is all too easy to lapse!
I made a stir fry, ran out of rice noodles. Rice takes 45 minutes to cook, so wheat noodles it was.
Pasta, wheat free is just not the same.
I LOVE the odd croissant, cooked a quiche for friends. They brought pudding: almond raspberry frangipane...
Need I go on?
