Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Late. Dry, then showery. Trails & beach at the southern reaches of Crosby coastal park.

Solitary.

Rubbish to be honest

First bad run of this marathon campaign and itโ€™s week 11/18 so canโ€™t complain.
Should have done 8 x 1.5 mins z5 with 2.5 mins z1 recovery. Couldnโ€™t get the legs turning over from interval 1. Not sure if it was lack off sleep after nights. Not having enough time to wake up before doing the run (up and out of the house in about 15 mins). Blood sugars were higher than normal so that may have not helped

Anyway did 5 out of 8 and binned the session as no improvement and decided to save myself for Saturdays long run.

Those runs are not fun riggys99, but you got most of it done, sensible to stop and not burn yourself out completely, and next time it will be better again :)

Just had a look at your post riggys, training when doing shift work is extremely hard going.

Years ago when I did Equinox 24 I used nights to learn to run on tired legs, 7 years later I don't think I could do it again.

Normally I would have been up a couple of hours anyway before doing my run. I would have had some porridge and been fully awake before the run. I suppose what I did was like a person working normal hours getting up and doing the run before work.
