Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Gluco - I think it's right but could be a few beats higher but nothing vastly different

Teknik - That's what I'm thinking/hoping. I'm returning from injury as well so being very cautious. Will hopefully get to around 25 this week, 30 next and then look to add around 5 miles per week. So come mid Jan(ish) will be at 50

That's a rotten time you've had Teknik. Look after yourself, and don't push too hard until you're sure you're fully healthy again.

Yeah take your time getting back to the high mileage Teknik. I lost my dad this year as well and if takes a while to start to get past that!

My mileage has been interrupted by a race, a bit of a cold, work and Xmas 'dos'...Hope to get back on it next week after my last crack at bettering my 5k PB this weekend.

Great progress all, thought this thread was dying for a while, thanks fir resurrecting Ptb!

Teknik - v.sorry for your loss; take care of your self.

I've had a poor few weeks, with a mixture of colds etc, work stresses and cba, so my mileage is not where I want it to be, or needs to be for an early April marathon. Two almost identical 8-mile sub-LT (79.3/79.8%) runs this week, both at an average 7:40mm, tells me exactly where I am; slightly behind last year and where I want to be. So my focus is "head down and get the miles in" for the next month or so.

Teknik, sorry to hear that. Not easy.

Re my sub, sub LT pace, I was actually hoping for something more like nelly's run noted above. so 7:40-7:50mm pace was what I had in mind.

Hopefully see that next week.

I am considering a wee parkrun blast tomorrow to see what happens !
