Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Interesting. I think I'd lurked for a while before I was brave enough to post anything.

I don't think there'd be a way for you to find out without brute forcing it - but always happy to respond to a feedback request.

I tried using Google's site Search but came up blank. Though did find my 196th post by chance in the history of the 3:15 thread.

I saw this lark and it made me go and find my 1st ever contribution to the 3:15 thread.

It took me about 45 mins and I now remember that this isn't the 1st time I've done this! I've written it down this time so I can't forget.

It's fascinating to look back. I'd be frustrated with me as an early poster now :-o

larks, if you were logging training on FE, might the earliest entry there help?

I think I backdated uploading my training here because when I joined I didn't have a Garmin, I recorded stuff using another app on a phone (Sportstracker). Only later did I manage to harmonise the data.

It was just an idle thought really, just curious if there was an easy way to do it - I did make the suggestion on the front page that searching for specific users' posts would be a feature I'd like - lots of message boards have that, it facilitates finding those "mots justes" which you can remember someone sort of saying but can't remember when etc!

Only my experience, but I had parallel registrations with RW and FE in 2008 when I joined FE. Frequency of RW posts would have fallen as I participated more in Fetch. I know I started to post mileage day by day on a spreadsheet linked to the FE Streaky Bacon thread on Fetch. This helped me narrow down dates for my first post. 5th post was the closest I got!

Correction ^ I've found my 7th post, 1 Jun. 2008, on the 'Word Association' thread.
