Well done Kwala & MM.
I'm a nightmare for forgetting to update the spreadsheet but I'm happy just to say my weight and my + or - on here on a Friday.
Gave myself a talking to at the weekend as eating anything in site and no running or gym has been a disaster on the scales so as of today back on it.

Oh dear. I just ate tons of chocolate. Not yet dropped out of holiday mode. Started writing down everything I eat again, just to snap out of it and get back into good habits.

I’ve decided I’m going to do a daily accountability post for a while, until I get this new system bedded in.
Yesterday I was well within the rules for a Moderate day, and no stress about doing it either.
This morning I am within 2lb of my IGW, so another Moderate day. I revisit the rules each morning, to remind myself what I’m about.

Accountability Post:
Yesterday’s Moderate day went fine until close to bedtime, when I ate a scone, which wasn’t within the rules (no sweets, cakes etc except for dark chocolate). The interesting thing is that at the time, my brain told me it was in the category of grains (small amount, but not at every meal) and was therefore OK. What a liar my brain is! But with that one slip, the day was OK and there was still a downward move in my weight.
Today - still within 2lb of IGW, so another Moderate day.
I set my IGW at 1.2lb above my weight on Monday morning, so I wouldn’t be doing Free days for a while. It will be a few more days before I’m entitled to one, I think.

Thanks for updating the spreadie Kwala. Relieved to see I was still there as I hadn't posted for a bit (keeping my head down as I had fallen off the wagon somewhat )
I like the idea of a daily accountability post Rev, I should probably do that too as I have a tendency to only post here when things are going well and hide when they're not!

Me too, Sweetie. It’s not helpful, I know that. It’s a lot easier to hide from the truth when you don’t discuss it openly.
At the same time, I want to be clear that I don’t owe anyone anything with regards to my weight. Know what I mean? I’m doing accountability posts to help *me*. No-one needs to comment, or even read them

Accountability post:
Yesterday (Moderate) - fine all day. Evening shopping resulted in me having 2 handfuls of macadamia nuts and a few teaspoons of extra thick cream while I was clearing up the kitchen, but since I had had no nuts and only a tiny dribble of cream earlier, that falls within the rules, so it’s fine.
Down another 0.5lb, now sitting just 0.1lb above IGW. Still within 2lb, though, so another Moderate day.
Day off tomorrow and I would like to have a free day. But I’m not going to qualify, so I’m not going to do it.
