Good luck HB. I did a half at the weekend, my last one race as an unaffiliated runner. Am currently struggling a bit with my ITB and hoping that ignoring it will make it go away 🙈 |

Good luck HB, and hoping the ITB goes away soon Gooner! I've gradually built back up to just over 35 miles per week lately so am hopeful I'll get round the Southend Half on 8th June without the achilles troubling me and in a time I'm happy with. |

Good luck @HellsBells & @Funky Chicken I have Chester Half on Sunday. Not sure what shape I’m in at the moment but hoping it’s not going to be too hot. Being a pasty Celt, I don’t do well in the heat

All the best @Cheeky’s Dad - hope the weather is OK for it and you don't have to battle it out in the heat too much!

![]() Done, Pix ![]() Am pootling around at the 30 mile per calendar week level, with 35mile 7 day trends - but I had hoped to be well in the 40s by now. Managing achilles and my ancient joints and trying to stay the right side of the too much line without getting too lazy. I need some hill-hiking, but family stuff and a broken van get in the way ![]() |

Hi all. A very belated congratulations to everyone that marathoned. I suffer with a little bit of hay fever but find an over the counter tablet first thing in the morning helps. I actually ran on Tuesday afternoon and intended to say hi then but life got in the way. I don’t do well in the heat so am grateful for the temperature dropping off slightly, so I can get out and do some more running before my race in July, (a How Hard Can It Be race). @Ness you remain a constant motivator with you running. |

@Ness I’m down for doing 19 miles at the moment I can change either up or down. The race organiser is flexible and amenable.
