Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks all - that's really helpful.

The three challenges are categorised as R(un), B(ike) or S(wim) - even though the former encompasses both running and walking.

The code that generates the notification checks whether the activity just logged is tied to an active role in the relevant challenge. So... if the activity is W(alk), then because there's no challenge categorised as 'W', it wasn't generating a notification.

Anyway, the upshot is, I think I've fixed it :-)

Sounding promising. When I first looked there were zero notifications in the queue for walks, which was a big giveaway 😀

Through the Rochester checkpoint.
Although it did bring back memories.
School ... Sir Joseph Williamson's Mathematical School (for Boys), aka Math School.
Starting here, in the High Street, as it was, including the original Roman/Norman city walls

and now

And the Medway Bridge. When I started in 1967 there was only 1, built in the 1850s and refurbed, with the strengthening steel bows, in 1914. Then the 'new' one as added in 1970, built on an old railway bridge.

I walked, bussed or cycled these every school day from 1967 to 1974.

And the cycle route home up and out of Strood? It kept me fit.

But back then a lot less markinbgs and no street furniture.
The Fetch route turns off to the left, my route home continued straight on for another 3-400 yards.

I uploaded two walks and a swim all at once, got three notifications, and clicking on one notification cleared all three. Not a problem, just an observation.

Back home and will be steadily easing back through the field now

We were walking through Manc airport this afternoon when I spotted a big pic of one of swittle’s Gormley iron men at Crosby. Bittersweet
