Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Ahead of our friendly dragon for the first time.

Hopefully I'll stay in front now as shin splints seem to be improving

Ah Night-owl sorry - did!’t see your virtual coffee invite and we’ve just been round the block with hounds! 🤪

However, the street view pic of where I am has brought back memories of a visit to Whitstable years ago to see friends! I’ve been IRL where I am on the map, currently!

I'm off the start line! Been laid up with a nasty virus but today felt like there was a glimmer of it shifting so I did a little test run. Only 2 mile but its a start. Now to play catch up (slowly obviously)

Having cycled 88 miles in the first 3 days of the Bike Challenge, in the following 2 days my daily distance fell due to the wind. If the weather forecast for 40-45mph winds for each of the next few days is correct, I won't be doing much cycling. :-(

At least it should mean that I will catch up in the Run/Walk Challenge. :-)

Enjoying all the coast. I wonder if I’ll stop swimming as much when I move away from the shore 🤪

Up to 229th, and I appear to be in a leafy suburb 2 miles behind the dragon.

Looks rather nicer than today's walk, which passed some armed police outside Clayton Vale speaking to (I assume) a nice man in a car...

Unfortunately I wasn't able to hang around to see the thrilling conclusion. Ended my walk chatting to some unimpressed ducks on the canal path...
