Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Probably DHCP, or the lease got its pants in a twist with the new year.

I no doubt saw the same post about last night's MRT activity as you NE and then I've not long seen the post about Ed too. Always a concern when you see posts like that but more so when it's someone you've known since they were a promising teenage orienteer and you know how capable he is physically and technically. Fingers crossed.

Not sure right now. Coniston MRT have removed their post about Incident 1/2024.

I going to try not speculate. But in general terms and that of a public appeal, if he's found then that's no longer relevant, so the MRT, police, etc, will update family first rather than the public. Frustrating as that will be to people, especially on New Year's Day when PR people are more likely on call rather than directly working.

Except the post was about the nature of the call out (as all MR teams do for all call outs once they're over). To then remove that post especially when it has already been widely shared is rather unusual.
