Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Braved the pool again this morning - good for me to have to just "bare it" so to speak - and feel more determined to make the gym membership work for me

Treadmill run was DULL, however I've devised a 2.5 run and then .5 Hill incline walk - so if I work on that theory I can mix some hill walking with the running and then aim to do 3 or 4 outdoor runs.. mix it all up a bit

Spin tomorrow - Wow in a good way - that's going to interesting!

How's the rest of the can gang?
How glad of the rain!!!

Go you with the swimsuit wearing!

That's such a big psychological barrier, and it seems like you're well on the way to conquering it.

I had a week at camp where the catering was entirely out of my hands, so ended up mostly eating healthily but accidentally skipping a few meals due to busyness/over sleeping.

I've not been so great since getting home, with the heat and various stresses, I've only managed to eat dinner once or twice in nearly a week. Wine and beer are not really acceptable meal replacements, Raemond.

It's still so hot - very very muggy here - although I feel like treadmill running is against my inner runner actually to run in air con is really worth it - and I'm really enjoying the swimming

Day two - I'm really trying not to fall into the @Bored of gym already mode - so I have to work out how to do the morning sessions long term... swimsuit is just @Close eyes and get in the pool! lol!

We've got two beers each for tonight - and I'm out tomorrow for tea so that is a good move ahead from sitting out in the garden and then drinking too much on a week night!

I still say we've to observe and learn and not expect to get everything right in one shot - small steps work for me.. I need to get into green tea this week at work too and ween myself totally off coffee

I've done pretty well this week (see my blog for details, if you're interested) and I'm definitely feeling more positive.
My weekends are always much harder in terms of eating less but I usually get more exercise done.
I can definitely get another run done and can resist cakes and Pimms when I'm helping out at the Church Fete tomorrow afternoon. I'll try to stick to helping with the Novelty Dog Show!

Know exactly how you feel about the swimsuit, FRU. Well done you!

It's been quite hard - and I still feel so body conscious - I'm just literally getting in it and getting in the pool

I am so loving the gym it's very scary! But I'm concentrating on doing what I like.. I re-discovered the row machiene yesterday - 2.5minutes is all I can do! LOL!

Small acorns though

Friday I class as my rest day - but off I went - 1.5mile on dready and then 30min swim which I'm so enjoying

Running will take a slight back chair for now - but I want to keep at least two outdoor runs a week - but doing different stuff feels awesome - plus my fella is joining next week so we can both go early morning - that is going to help me make this a habbot

Lazy with my notebook this week
Water QUITE good - must get focused on that again next week
Black coffee/ytea going well
Booze - not perfect but much better so far this week

Glad to hear your all having some positives
That's the main focus - pick a positive - no room for negatives
Your all beautiful - and you CAN!

FRU come join us on the indoor rowing thread! It's just like running really - you can do way more than 2.5 mins, you just need to slow down a bit. I get a LOT fitter when I include rowing in my training.

Have concluded that I can't focus on as many things as I want to, and that I need prioritise. So exercise is my main priority for the next six weeks. Consistency is lacking and that's no good as I'm forever "starting again." Second priority: booze. Not enough booze-free days lately.

Whenever you’re ready Cotty x

Loving the positivity in here heart

Today was fighting fit class - my boss is a karate coach and he runs a women only fitness class where we can punch and kick pads etc as well as some circuits

I absolutely love the way I feel during and after this class
And it’s only 30 mins ;)
