Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi Helegant and Mandymoo, thank you for the welcome !!!

....and a big squeeze to Coachy :-) xxx (FAR too long no see)

Well day two and i've been out again, for the same run. Was considerably warmer though, as the sun was out pretty much the whole time. I do NOT enjoy running in the heat, give me a cold winters day any day!

I think tomorrow will be the last day this week that i'll be able to go out as it's going to be too hot for the rest of the week.

Great to have you here laura.. small steps is the best plan

Plus being kind to ourselves. I’ve clothes I can’t get into but trying to focus on making the most of what I have... like pampering my feet, wearing nice make up, focusing on what I can wear and trying to ignore for now the lumps and bumps I don’t like

Can. Is about what we do have whilst working to move to what we’d like

I’m doing good on water, black tea and coffee ( less coffee) and walking this week

I ran this morning whoo hoo... in the torrential thunder storm! I donned my lakes waterproof and shorts and off I went, exhilarating! Drowned rat.. but inspired by Laura’s 1st run..

Happy days

I've got a stinking cold so no exercise but have managed lots of water and not eaten too much.
Horror of horrors I'm going to a wedding on October 7th.... so post holiday I will need to take some drastic action to avoid fatty photos for posterity. DURING holiday I will wear my new shorty wetsuit and do swimming as well as running and plenty of walking.

Evening all and well done on positive steps.

Well I have been hungrier than a hungry thing since the big bike ride on Sunday and tomorrow that needs to be reigned in. I have just over 6 weeks to my holiday and I really want to feel better/look better in photos. I hate that I shy away from having my photos taken at lthe moment.

So tomorrows cans are

1. Drink plenty of water
2. Eat proper meals
3. Attempt to run for the first time since January

I didn't do my planned Tuesday run because I couldn't convince my tired body to move at 7 (awake since 5 because of a storm). BUT...I did at least run a mile back from the bike shop after I'd taken it in for a service. So that sort of counts as a Tuesday run. I'd have extended it but had to get back home for a work call.

Hello all! Just back from running club where I managed my fastest mile for the year so far :-) Also noticed that this month has been my highest ever mileage in my 11 years on Fetch!!! Plus I've even managed to shift a few lbs in July so a lot of positives going on for me at the moment.

Just the slightly larger issue of getting a job to deal with and all will be good in kwalaland!!

Kuala that's awesome! Way to go lady... good on ya!

I am proudly off for a run in a mo... very tired after a very late night last night in the garden chilling out, but morning run habit must be re built
