We stopped at a paid Aire in walking distance to Bruges, which is lovely, but very touristy., then a free stop just outside Antwerp, with a nature reserve just beside it, and a water bus in to the centre, so it was a great stop, and I got a gentle 5k run in before we left for Holland. Tomorrow is Keukenhof for the bulbs, which will hopefully meet our expectations. We've checked the bike route there on the tandem this afternoon.

OH found a basic but well placed Aire for 15€ a night, and in cycling distance to the Keukenhof gardens. The most amazing tulip displays I've ever seen. It was less than 9km away, so easy to ride there in our tandem.
