The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Of go to Friends > All Connections. Choose a friend you want to add to this new list, click on 'Add to List' and then choose 'Create New List'

just had a text from my OH warning me not to log into facebook as there's some nasty virus going round.

sooo tempted to look...

any idea what's going on? He might just be blowing it out of proportion as he has no idea how FB works!!

You'll only get the virus if you click on one of the emails claiming to be facebook and enter your login details

I've had the odd weird one from friends with a random link to click, they're pretty obvious. I'm pretty sure its nothing as I don't play the games or quizzes or do any of the copy/paste things.
